Glad you maybe asked. You’ll pour beer & talk about it. And be nice. Sometimes slap a high five or two. That’s about it.

Requirements:
– Legal age for alcohol service
– Available at 4 pm on weekdays and full availability on weekends
– Available Thursdays, Fridays, & Saturdays
– Available to work at least 3 weekends during each month
– Dependable and timely
– Knowledgeable & passionate about craft beer
– Able to work independently and autonomously
– Able to lift up to 65 lbs with assistance on occasion
– Outgoing and personable
– Own reliable transportation to get to and from events around the area

Part Time Packaging Operator

Insight Brewing is seeking a skilled, enthusiastic and hardworking craft beer lover to join our team in the brewhouse as a part-time Packaging Operator.  Hours will vary, but will typically be 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday, beginning at 8am each workday.

The primary focus of this position, but not exclusively, is providing support to our brewing team through various packaging activities. The position is extremely task driven and needs an individual who is able to multi-task and deal with the production team, suppliers and all Insight team members, with attention to detail being of the utmost importance.

Key Responsibilities (Not Limited to these)

  • Packaging Beer (Canning and kegging)
  • Quality Assurance
  • Assisting brewing team with brewing related issues and projects as needed
  • Troubleshooting problems with packaging equipment
  • General upkeep of the brewery
  • Cleaning, sanitation and maintenance of packaging equipment
  • Cleaning & Sanitizing of tanks, hoses, kegs, etc.
  • Proper handling of chemicals requires for sanitization and cleaning of equipment
  • Assisting other team members as needed – Brew house, Grain out, etc.
  • Maintaining accurate & legible written and electronic records
  • Loading & Unloading trucks with forklift
  • Understanding and practicing all internal safety standards
  • Performing other related duties as required
  • Being an everyday ambassador for delicious Insight beer

Experience & Requirements

  • Experience operating machines is preferred
  • Good troubleshooting skills, and strong mechanical/electrical aptitude
  • A problem solver with attention to detail
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team, with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to follow verbal & written instructions
  • Experience handling chemicals with an emphasis on cleaning and sanitizing protocols
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 165 pounds
  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of the brewing process
  • Commitment to quality with a passion for Craft Beer
