Taproom Rental

On a quest to find the perfect space to host your private event? Well, look no further because our 3,000 sq ft taproom is great for hosting an array of private events from weddings to corporate functions!


Private Rental Details:

  • Exclusive access to the bar and outside beer garden area (weather permitting)
  • Use of existing taproom tables, chairs, and sound system
  • Private tour (dependent on availability and brewhouse schedule)
  • Bartender(s) will be staffed appropriately for your event
  • Event Coordinator will be available for the setup of your event
  • Set-up 1 hour prior to event start time
  • Parking in our lot outside of brewery for guests
  • Two beer options: Beer minimum or Beer included
  • Indoor Capacity: 130 seated, 220 standing
  • Patio Capacity (weather permitting): 60 seated, 80 standing

Pricing of Rental: Dependent on time, day of week, and beer option (tax & gratuity not included)

BEER

Insight Brewing offers a variety of beers based on the season. Beer pricing is the same as during our regular taproom hours: $5 for Tier 1 16 oz pour, $6 for Tier 2 16 oz pour, and $6 for Tier 3 10 oz pour, specialty beer prices vary. Guests may pay with cash or credit card, or you may choose to host all beverages. We also offer a craft brewed soda option, water, and UP Coffee Arnold Palmer N/A. Our license only covers service of our beer, therefore wine, cider or other alcohol is not allowed on our premises. No outside beverages are allowed with the exception of coffee.

FOOD

You are more than welcome to bring in your own potluck style food, have your event catered (our Event Coordinator can give you some great suggestions) or have a food truck present for your event.

DECOR

If you need linens, decorations or other items you must work with an outside party. We do not allow decorations that will cause damage to our property. Table decorations are more than welcome, but we ask for no open flames. We ask that guests remove all items they bring into the space (food, decorations, plates/utensils, etc.).

MUSIC

We have the capability for you to have live music at your event. It is up to you to make hire and make arrangements for a band or DJ to perform at your event. Otherwise, if you have a specific music playlist we can set it up to play over our taproom speakers.

REQUEST A DATE

Interested in booking our taproom for your event, fill out the form below and hit submit. We ask that you request your rental at least (5) weeks prior to your requested event date. If your request is approved, our Event Coordinator will reach out and walk you through our rental contract to finalize your date. No rental is complete until Insight Brewing receives your signed contract and rental deposit.


FAQs

Are children allowed?
Yes, of course! We are a family-friendly brewery and have fun board games for your guests to enjoy!

Do you offer gluten-free beer?
Sorry, we do not.

What about parking?
We have free parking. Park in our lot just west of our building. On weekends, if you can’t find an empty spot you can park on Hennepin Avenue. We do not allow overnight parking during the week as we have multiple delivery trucks that need to be able to get in and out of our lot.

What is the difference between a reservation & rental?
A Table Reservation is the reservation of a table/small space for a non-exclusive gatheringĀ of 20-75 people, whereas, a rental is the exclusive rental of our taproom for your event.
